I know, Bleach manga/anime fans probably hate Aizen Sousuke's guts, but you just have to love how incredibly awesome he is in Rock Musical Bleach! I mean, the man deserves some respect. Case in point, this EPIC fight scene between Aizen, Ichigo, and Renji from Rock Musical Bleach: No Clouds in the Blue Heavens. My favorite fight scene in all Rock Musical Bleachdom. ^_^

Rock Musical Bleach Anthem - Mou Hitotsu no Chijou
"Mou Hitotsu no Chijou" is the one song in Rock Musical Bleach wherein all the main characters get to sing solo (except for Ichigo, since it's the anthem of the Soul Society's 13 Court Guard Squads and he's not part of them), and that is probably why it is an all-time favorite among many fans. As expected, a song that gives eight squad captains, five vice captains, and three squad members some solo time is a long one - nine minutes and two seconds to be exact. But it's well worth the time.
This version of "Mou Hitotsu no Chijou" is from Rock Musical Bleach: The Live Bankai Show Code 002, and it is the last version of the song with Aizen Sousuke. (Ohkuchi Kengo, the actor who played Aizen, was not able to be a part of The Live Bankai Show 003 which was the last Rock Musical Bleach with the original cast.)
By the way, I love how it opens with the set rotating up into place from beneath the dark stage and then you see everyone slowly appearing with lanterns that create this mysterious, other-worldly atmosphere. I wish I could have seen it live. ^_^

Rock Musical Bleach: The Live Bankai Show Code 003 Wallpapers
Yay! I found some BuriMyu (Rock Musical Bleach) pictures that are large enough to use as wallpaper. It's the photo shoot for The Live Bankai Show Code 003. I now have them alternating on my desktop. :)
Click on the pictures to view full size. Right-click and select Save Image As to download.
Too bad Aizen Sousuke wasn't in The Live Bankai Show Code 003. He would've looked great on my desktop. Hehe... Thanks for these pictures, KyDdxLidD. You've really made my day. :)

Anime 101: The Basics
I love anime. It has even gotten so far as to me preferring it over live-action movies and TV shows. The thing is that among my family and friends, I am the only one who truly appreciates it. After a while, I realized that almost all of them have misconceived notions about anime being solely for kids, and so I decided to write this post. :)
Definition of Anime
Anime is commonly defined as "animation originating from Japan". In English-speaking countries, it is also referred to as "Japanese animation". Just like its live-action counterpart, anime is also divided into many different genres such as romance, comedy, action, suspense, horror, drama, etc. This categorization is called "genre by topic".
Anime By Demographic
Another way to categorize anime is by demographic, meaning its intended audience. This is also a helpful tool for finding which anime would suit your taste. The basic anime genres by demographic are:

More Hot Anime Guys
It was a hard task selecting who would land a spot in my Top 10 Hottest Anime Guys list as I consider personality to be a key criterion in gauging hotness aside from good looks and a great body. And choosing only ten out of the many, many hot anime guys out there proved to be quite a challenge. Now to be fair to the other hot anime guys who didn't make it to my Top Ten, I have decided to feature another batch of ten hottest anime guys (in no particular order). And don't underestimate the hotness of these guys just because they're runners-up, they just might give you a nosebleed. ;)
Takashi "Mori" Morinozuka
Ouran High School Host Club
Age: 18 years old
Height: 6'2"
Weight: ?
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Black
Race: Human
Takashi Morinozuka or Mori, as his friends call him, is the strong, silent type and the girls in the Host Club love him for it. He doesn't say much, and this creates an air of mystery around him. Plus he's tall, dark and handsome.

Best Anime Opening/Ending Themes
Have you ever had a song stuck in your head? Like a broken record playing over and over and over even while you're sleeping? And you suddenly start humming, or even worse - singing, the song at random moments during the day involuntarily like muscle twitches? That's what anime has done to me, but in a good way. That's why I think all anime shows should be required to splash this message in big bold letters before the start of the opening theme:
WARNING:
Watching too much anime can cause JPop/Rock/Hiphop addiction.
It all starts out quite innocently. You hear the anime's opening theme and don't think much about it because you don't understand Japanese. Then you start noticing how awesome the video sequence that goes with the opening theme is. Then you realize that the music is a perfect fit for the anime you're watching. Pretty soon you hear the darn song in your head every time you see the anime's main character. Then you just have to look it up in YouTube because you're curious to see the artists behind it. And then you find the video to the full version of the song and that's when you're hooked.
Well, that's how I got hooked anyway. :D You know... why don't you try it? You might like it. ;P I'll even point you in the right direction. Here are a few of my favorite anime opening/ending themes right now: (By the way, don't mind the incomprehensible English lyrics, a lot of them are incorrect. Hehe.)

Older Anime Characters
Just what is it with anime and high school students? I mean, why is it that almost all non-samurai anime are about high school kids? Why don't they make more anime about adults like veteran war journalist Tatsumi Saiga in Speed Grapher for instance? But even in Speed Grapher they had to put a high school girl right up there with Saiga. Do anime fans really like the high school setting that much, or is it that most anime fans are high school students themselves? What about us adults?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. In fact, I've enjoyed quite a few high school themed anime such as Ouran High School Host Club and Great Teacher Onizuka (Junior high is still high school even though their teacher Eikichi Onizuka is 22 years old). College might be a bit better, but it would still be about students and teenagers.
I would like to see more anime with adult, not teenage, characters. Basically I guess I want the main characters to be and look older than 30. And I want the main character to be male. And he's got to be handsome, smart and confident. And there has to be a generous amount of sexual tension between him and another girl a couple of years younger who is preferably not a whiny little brat. And the story must inspire feelings of suspense, "kilig" and excitement. It may be set in modern or ancient or fictional Japan, just as long as the above-mentioned elements are present. Hmm... maybe I should create my own anime. Hehe.
Sigh... now I'm missing Byakuya Kuchiki and Gin Ichimaru. Why did Bleach have to get so bad after the first couple of seasons?
