Ouran High School Host Club Live Action TV Series

I just found out! It has been formally announced: Ouran High School Host Club will have a live action TV adaptation! Yipee! It is set to air on TBS beginning July 2011 and will star Yusuke Yamamoto as Tamaki Suoh and Haruna Kawaguchi as Haruhi Fujioka. Here's the complete cast for the Ouran High School Host Club live action TV series:

I'm a little disappointed by the cast line-up though. I was expecting the Host Club guys to be better looking, I guess. Somewhere around the handsomeness of Ikuta Toma, Mukai Osamu and Hayami Mokomichi. *Stares and drools... Haha!*

    The live action Ouran is scheduled to air on TBS this coming July 2011. I hope it gets subbed right away. :)

    Hhhmmmm ... I don't think they have made a great choice with these casts. I can accept the actress who plays Haruhi and actor who plays Honey Senpai .. but for the rest of them, I really don't think the actors make a good match.. I can't help but notice the cast for Tamaki .. is not a match at all.. he is not pretty enough. And Tamaki is very pretty. I think your choice (Ikuta Toma) would make a better match to play Tamaki, Susan .. He is much prettier :)

    Gah! Don't get me started. :P There must be other Japanese actors out there who are more of a physical match to the Ouran host club guys, right? I'm not saying the guys they picked are bad actors though, but you're right in saying that they don't seem to match with our expectations. :O

    Uh-huh. Well, we'll see. :) Someone just told me the series started last July 22 and the preview is up on YouTube. I'm going to check it out. :)

    although the physical appearance doesnt fit them err..the live action was pretty hilarious.. it really made laugh so hard like in the anime actions...

    Really? I couldn't keep myself awake while watching the second episode, I think. I probably dozed off because I can't remember any of it. :O

    Maybe I'll give the series another chance. :)
